Bonomo Doubles Through Trevallion

Level 10 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

From middle position, Alex Trevallion raised to 11,000. Justin Bonomo called from the hijack seat, and then everyone else folded before the dealer brought out the {J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop. Trevallion checked, and Bonomo bet 18,000. Trevallion made the call.

The turn was the lowly {4-Spades}, or so we thought. First, Trevallion checked for a second time in a row, and then Bonomo tossed out a bet of 45,000. After sizing up Bonomo's stack and taking some time to think things over, Trevallion check-raised all in. Bonomo snap-called to put his remaining 165,500 on the line and tabled the {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a turned set. Trevallion had the {K-Spades}{Q-Spades} for a combo draw.

The river was the {8-Diamonds}, and that left Trevallion holding just king high. His han was no good against Bonomo's set, and he was forced to send the chips over. Bonomo collected the pot and inched his way over 400,000. Trevallion was left with about 480,000.
