: 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante
A few hands after Dan Shak's elimination, Jason Mercier asked the table whether or not they would be interested in a chop. At first some of the players were skeptical, but after Scott Seiver plugged the chip counts into an ICM calculator they started to come around.
Everyone but Max Altergott agreed to the deal, giving every player more than third place money, and after a bit of convincing from Mercier, the German finally agreed as well.
Player | Prize |
---|---|
Martin Jacobson | $285,921 |
Dan Smith | $278,414 |
Scott Seiver | $265,538 |
Jason Mercier | $263,342 |
Max Altergott | $241,785 |
