Timex Hits Quads

Level 11 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Mike "Timex" McDonald was all in preflop for 344,000 with the {6-Clubs}{6-Spades} against the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} for Fabian Quoss. The flop came down {9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} to give McDonald a lead with a set of sixes, and then the river added the {6-Diamonds} to leave Quoss drawing dead. The river was the {10-Spades} to complete the board, and McDonald doubled up.

Nine-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner Phil Ivey just doubled up through Justin Bonomo. Ivey was all in on the {K-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop with the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds} against the {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} for Bonomo.

The {A-Hearts} on the turn and {10-Diamonds} on the river sealed the deal for Ivey, and he moved to 900,000 in chips.

Polk Doubles Through Negreanu

Level 10 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

Doug Polk and Daniel Negreanu have been seated next to one another for the entire day and have been doing a good bit of friendly chatter. While they're clearly enjoying each other's company, the two just clashed in an all-in pot that saw Polk double through "Kid Poker."

Polk was all in for 146,000 with the {A-Spades}{4-Hearts} against Negreanu's {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}. The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Clubs}, and Negreanu was halved with Polk doubling up.

Bonomo Busts Kurganov and Takes Chip Lead

Level 10 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

From the button, Justin Bonomo opened with a raise to 45,000. Fresh off his double up through Isaac Haxton, Igor Kurganov reraised all in from the small blind for 524,000. After Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier folded from the big blind, Bonomo snap-called.

Bonomo's snap was followed by him tabling the mother of all hands with the {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}. Kurganov turned over a not-so-good-looking {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. The board ran out {10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades}, and Kurganov was gone.

Bonomo moved to nearly 1.3 million in chips and assumed the chip lead.

Kurganov Doubles Through Haxton

Level 10 : 10,000/20,000, 2,000 ante

PokerStars Team Online member Isaac Haxton raised to 50,000 on the button. Action then folded to Igor Kurganov in the big blind, and he thought about his decision for a minute before reraising all in for 251,000. Haxton then took a minute, and made the call.

Haxton tabled the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}, and Kurganov had the {K-Diamonds}{J-Spades}.

The flop, turn, and river ran out {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, and Kurganov made a flush to double up.
