The Flip Of A Coin

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

We came to the table with {10-Clubs}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds} showing and a player faced with an allin bet from Milan Gurung.

It seemed like the player had already been in the tank for some time before our PokerNews reporter arrived and he continued to stay in the tank before saying he was torn as to what decision to make.

Eventually the player decided to literally flip a coin, taking a coin from his pocket and flying it into the air. When the coin landed heads he sighed and with a painful look made the call.

When Gurung turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, it was way in front of his own {k-Spades}{10-Spades} and a conversation about leaving decisions to chance broke out at the table. The player seemed upset at himself as Gurung took down the pot, saying that he never should have flipped the coin.

If Gurung had have turned over pocket-nines we are sure he would have been praising the coin.

Gurung sees his stack move to 25,000.
