Kapoor Jams Into the Lead
Level 27
: Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Akshay Kapoor limped in the small blind and Renniel Galvez raised to 260,000 in the big blind. On a flop, Kapoor checked and subsequently called a bet worth 175,000 by Galvez.
Neither player invested any chips on the turn and they saw the river for free, with Kapoor checking quickly. Galvez bet 700,000 and Kapoor checked his remaining stack before he pushed all-in to force a snap-fold from Galvez.
With that larger pot, Kapoor wrestled the lead away from Galvez who had been picked on by the other three players on multiple occassions.
After the next quick hand, the four players went on a short unscheduled break.
