, Lester Edoc checked to Abhinav Iyer who bet 250,000. Edoc used a time extension before check-raising to 600,000.
Crucially, Edoc announced 600,000 but slid a stack of 500,000 forward. As he did so, Iyer moved all in. Edoc then added the extra 100,000 to the pot and Iyer, mistakenly thinking his opponent had called his shove, went to turn over his hand.
He quickly realised that he hadn't and turned it back down.
Edoc tanked and used another two time extensions.
"I'm sure I saw jack-nine of diamonds," said Edoc. "How can I fold this hand?" Eventually he did fold.
