Wong Makes Move on Takayama and Busts

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Yap Sen Wong
Yap Sen Wong

It was a classic small blind versus big blind confrontation, where Mike Takayama opened to 80,000, and Yap Sen Wong re-raised to 240,000. Takayama continued with a five-bet to 500,000, and Wong announced all in after some tanking. Takayama snap-called, and Wong's reaction proved that he knew he was in a bad shape after his opponent's quick call.

Takayama: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Wong: {a-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, and Wong was out of the tournament.

Massive Three-Way All in for Shinagawa; Grabs Lead

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kei Shinagawa saw Yikun Feng open-shove from early position preflop, for just five big blinds, and Jixue Yin had flat called the shove. Shunagawa decided to go with his hand, and called too, to create a three-way almost 800,000 pot.

The rest of the table folded, and the flop came {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, and Yin bet 250,000, with Shinagawa making the call, for a 500,000 side-pot.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds}, and Yin shoved, with Shinagawa snap calling/

Yikun Feng: {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Jixue Yin: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Kei Shinagawa: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}

Shinagawa had hit his two-outer on the turn, and was ready to win a massive pot. The {5-Diamonds} secured him the pot, and the other players were jokingly asking him what he ate for breakfast.

Wang Hits Straight Flush to Eliminate Liow

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Xinyu Wang has had a great start in Day 3, as after doubling up in one of the first hands, he just found a straight flush to eliminate Marcus Liow.

The flop was {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}, and Wang made a c-bet after raising preflop, while Liow was on the button and decided to raise to 250,000. Wang announced all in, Wang snap-called, and they went to showdown.

Marcus Liow: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Xinyu Wang: {7-Spades}{8-Spades}

Liow was in serious trouble as his opponent had already made a straight, and he was looking for some runner-runner cards to stay alive. The {10-Spades} brought excitement in the table, as Wang had made a straight flush to leave his opponent drawing dead.

The {6-Clubs} improved Liow to a full house, but it was just salt to his wounds, since there was no way he could win.

"What did you fold?" asked Yvo Molin.

"Tell you in a minute," said Caabay. "I don't like to say.

Daji Chen: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}
Rong Shan Li: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {j-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} with Chen sending his opponent to the rail. Caabay apparently folded ace-ten.

Shinagawa Doubles Through Feng

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Kei Shinagawa moved all in from under the gun for 540,000. Yikun Feng called in the hijack and the remaining players folded.

"Gamble," said Shinagawa showing {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} against the {a-Spades}{3-Diamonds} of his opponent.

"It's not a gamble if you're ahead," said a tablemate.

Feng was ahead, but not for long as the {6-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} flop handed Feng a double to more than a million.
