Ward Takes On Lim
Aaron Lim has been spotted in the field today. The 2013 APPT Seoul Main Event champion and WSOP APAC bracelet winner just went heads up against New Zealand’s Thomas Ward.
With 7,000 in the pot and the flop showing Ward checked his option from the big blind. Lim was seat to his left and led out for 3,100 which was enough to force a fold from the player on the button. Ward made the call and the two watched the fall on the turn.
Both players opted to check before the completed the board. Ward then reached for his chips and bet out 6,600. Lim thought for a minute before raising it up to 19,100 in chips. Ward spent a minute deciding what to do before finally making the call.
Lim then rolled over his for ace-high but was beaten when Ward tabled his for a pair and the winning hand.
Lim drops down to 25,400 as Ward climbs to 95,000 in chips.
