Nguyen Pushes Allmrodt Out
Level 17
: 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Andrew Nguyen made it 13,000 to go in early position, and Michael Allmrodt was the lone caller on the button. The flop came down , and Nguyen continuation bet to 14,000. Allmrodt thought for about a minute before putting out a min-raise to 28,000. It got back to Nguyen, and after about 30 seconds of thinking, he grabbed a stack of yellow T5,000 chips, and dropped them in the middle, putting Allmrodt all in.
As he has done throughout the day, Allmorodt took his time with his decision, tanking for at least four minutes. Eventually, he folded face up, giving the pot to Nguyen, who jumped up to 210,000 in the process. Meanwhile, Allmrodt is where he has been for quite some time now, sitting on the shortest stack in the room with 85,000.
