Flop:
On the flop, it didn't take long for Endo to open shove his huge stack in front of Ortmann who had around 300,000. Endo watched on as Ortmann got to his feet and looked towards the payout structure on the monitor's. Apparently satisfied with the small pay jump, Ortmann made the call and the two players turned their hands over.
Ortmann:
Endo:
A huge draw for Ortmann versus the over-pair of Endo. The turn was no help, but the river gave Ortmann the straight and he took down the massive hand.
Daisuke Endo was under the gun when he opened it up to 28,000. Moritz Ortmann was a couple of seat to his left when he three-bet to 69,000. The action was back on Endo and he promptly four-bet to 125,000. This sent Ortmann into the tank as he contemplated the call. Eventually he gave it up and sent the pot to Endo.
From the cutoff seat, Daisuke Endo raised to 26,000. Moritz Ortmann called in the small blind, then checked the flop. Endo checked behind to see the land on the river. Ortmann bet 33,000 and Endo called.
The completed a possible backdoor flush draw on the river and completed the board. Ortmann checked, then Endo checked.
From the hijack seat, Hideo Kimura raised to 26,000 with 152,000 behind. Moritz Ortmann stuck with his recent ways and moved all in, having Kimura covered. Kimura looked pained and thought for a couple minutes. He wound up folding and Ortmann improved to 357,000 in chips.
After Tom Alner raised to 22,000 from under the gun, action folded a few seats over to Sasa Zorc in the cutoff seat. He reraised all in for 227,000. Everyone, including Alner, gave it up and Zorc chipped up.
From the hijack seat, Moritz Ortmann raised all in for 145,000. Action folded to Daisuke Endo in the big blind and he tanked for a bit. Finally, Endo gave it up and Ortmann won the pot.
