Bhasin Goes For a Double Check-Raise

Roy Bhasin
Roy Bhasin

PokerStars Team Online Roy Bhasin just managed to win a very interesting pot against chip leader Wayne Bentley.

Bentley started things off by raising to 7,000 from the button, and Bhasin called from the small blind. The big blind called as well, and both players checked to Bentley when the flop brought {3-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

Bentley put out a continuation-bet of 10,000 and Bhasin raised it up to 29,000. The big blind folded, Bentley called.

On the turn the {A-Spades} showed up, and Bhasin decided to check again. Bentley didn't want to see a river just yet as he bet 29,000. This got Bhasin to shove, and he put his 145,500 chips at risk. Bentley tanked for a long time, but eventually he decided to let it go.

Bhasin is the last player representing PokerStars in this event, and after this pot he sees himself in serious contention.
