Van Marcus Eliminated in 32nd Place ($10,405)
Marcus:
Scott:
Marcus was in great shape but that all changed on the flop when Scott spiked a pair of queens to take the lead. It was then all over on the turn as Scott made a flush to leave Marcus drawing dead. The meaningless was the river and the pot was pushed to Scott.
Some controversy then emerged following the hand as the players counted down their stacks as Marcus believed the dealer had pushed his opening bet to Scott. Marcus wanted to go to the cameras, but a count of Scott's stack revealed that even if the 17,000 had already been included in the pot, Scott still had Marcus covered.
The 2008 APPT Manila champion departs in 32nd place for $10,405.
