Van Marcus Layin' Down the Overpair

Marcus wasn't too happy to fold those tens.

Two plays limped from middle position before Van Marcus raised to 2,500 from the small blind. Steve Micos called from the big blind and the two limpers folded.

The flop came down {9-Spades}

and Marcus fired 3,000. Micos raised to 6,000 which prompted Marcus to go into the tank.

Marcus had his hand almost turned completely over while he sat in the tank. The half of the table that he was on could see that he had two tens and was contemplating what to do. Eventually, he mucked his hand. Micos showed him two jacks.

Van Marcus is on 36,000 now.
