Guitteau Goes Crazy

It seems that the majority of the major action this morning has centered around one man - Gerome Guitteau.

He was involved in two more major pots recently.

In the first he got involved in a battle of the blinds with Simon Watt. Watt made an opening raise from the small blind and Guitteau made it 10,000 from the big blind. Watt four bet back over the top from the small blind to 20,000 and Guitteau called.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Watt bet out 25,000. Guitteau came over the top for 55,000 and Watt moved in for about 26,000 more. Despite seemingly being pot committed Guitteau went into the tank.

He was asking a lot of questions in his thick French accent and eventually moved in the call and tabled his {A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for Ace high and no draws. Watt was ecstatic "YES!" he said as he rolled over {j-Hearts}{10-Spades} for top pair.

The board completed {2-Spades} turn, which gave Guitteau a couple more outs, and {9-Clubs} river.

The pot takes Watt up to about 200,000 in chips. Guitteau dropped to 70,000.

A moment later he called the all in bet of fellow Frenchman Herve Gael on the wrong side of {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} vs {A-Spades}{a-Hearts} only to spike a set on the {j-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts} flop. The board completed {5-Hearts} turn and {2-Spades} river to move Guitteau back to about 100,000 in chips.
