Gray Eliminates Seet In Massive Pot!

Jason Gray, runaway chip leader!
Jason Gray, runaway chip leader!
Jason Gray opened with a raise and found one caller, before Nathanael Seet bumped it up to 9,000. Gray was the lone caller.

They took a flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, and again Gray called the bet from Seet as they saw the {J-Spades} peel off on the turn. Seet checked and Gray bet 13,000, Seet then check-raised all in for 54,100 and Gray made the call.

Seet tabled {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} for an overpair and open-ended straight draw, however Gray had already made a straight holding a creative {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}.

The river was a repeat {10-Diamonds}, and in the biggest pot of the tournament, Seet has been sent crashing to the rail as Gray opens a massive chip lead over the field with 173,000 chips! We're only half way through level six and he already has amassed 50,000 more chips than the leader from the end of yesterday's play.
