Chuck Truck Fills Up the Tank

Charles Chua open-shoved all in for 425,00. Action folded to Mikael Rosen who quickly announced all in himself. He gave a fist bump to Chua and the cards were opened:

Rosen: {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}
Chua: {J-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}

With Rosen standing and Chua sitting, the dealer burned and turned the flop. It came {10-Spades} {Q-Spades} {7-Clubs}, missing Rosen and giving Chua an open-ended straight draw. The turn {8-Clubs} filled his straight. Only a jack on the river would allow Rosen to overtake Chua by making a better straight. That didn't happen; the river was the {A-Diamonds}. Chua doubled up to about 900,000.

Another Small One for Huang

It was a limped pot between the two blinds, Diwei Huang in the small blind and Charles Chua in the big blind. The flop was ragged and small, coming {6-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {2-Spades}. Huang checked to Chua, who bet 45,000. Perhaps sensing weakness, Huang check-raised to 130,000. That was enough to win the pot.

Huang's Stone Bluff

Diwei Huang

It started out friendly enough. Diwei Huang limped in as first to act. After Charles Chua folded the button and Edward Sabat completed the small blind, Mikael Rosen tank-raised to 135,000. Huang, as next to act, reraised to 335,000. With the only audible sound being the "ding! ding!" of baccarat bells going off throughout the casino, Rosen gave Huang the stinkeye. Or maybe it was a Medusa stare, because Huang became still as stone, sitting with his hand over his mouth and betraying no emotion. Rosen continued to stare him down intently, sitting fairly still himself.

After three minutes of this, Huang called for a clock. MC Tony Dunst announced that Rosen had one minute to act. Rosen did not acknowledge this warning at all, continuing to stare Huang down. After another twenty seconds, he seemed to shake his head "no" slightly. Thirty seconds were called by Dunst and finally Rosen mucked.

Huang showed {7-Spades} {6-Spades} to the delight of the crowd. A spectator in the gallery called out, "Tricky, tricky!"

Another Pot For Sabat

Edward Sabat
Edward Sabat
Diwei Huang flat-called on the button, Charles Chua folded the small blind and Edward Sabat checked his option in the big blind.

The flop came down {3-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Sabat led out for 75,000. Huang made the call.

The turn was the {Q-Diamonds} and both players checked. The {8-Diamonds} hit the river and Sabat checked to Huang who checked behind. Sabat showed {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} which was good enough to take down the pot.

Sabat Picks Up Where He Left Off

Edward Sabat has proven himself to be the most dynamic and most dangerous force at today's final table. He raised to 75,000 preflop and was called by Diwei Huang and Charles Chua in the bilnds.

On the three-way flop of {Q-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {10-Spades}, Huang checked over to Chua, who bet 100,000. Sabat then announced raise and took 15 seconds before cutting 295,000 chips off his stack and pushing them in the middle. That raise folded each of the remaining players.

Huang Takes One Before The Break

Diwei Huang limped from the button, Charles Chua completed from the small blind and Edward Sabat checked his option in the big blind.

The flop arrived {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Spades} and it was checked to Huang who fired 30,000. Chua folded and Sabat made the call.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds}. Sabat checked to Huang who fired again, this time for 60,000. Sabat made the call.

The river brought the {7-Clubs} and both players checked it down.

Huang flipped {Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} which was good enough to take down the pot.
