Johnny Chan opened with a raise to 2,000 from the button and Xuan Nguyen popped it up to 4,500 from the big blind. Chan made the call.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}

and Nguyen led out for 8,000. Chan made the call. The turn was the {8-Spades}

and Nguyen checked to Chan who fired 15,000. Nguyen eventually gave up his hand to give the healthy pot to the two-time World Champion, as Chan is now in very good shape with 80,000 chips.
