Big Penalty for Ozer

Not for the first time today, Chris Ozer has got involved in an argument with the floor staff, but this time it��s ended rather painfully for the player from Melbourne.
We arrived on the river where Ozer had acted out of turn with a bet of 10,000, leaving himself just 30,000. This is where the SKYCITY Auckland poker room manager Toni Quedley stepped in.
Quedley had been observing the actions and table talk for quite a while and informed Ozer that he had knowingly acted out of turn and was about to receive a penalty.
David Lim was his opponent, who asked what his options were. He checked, Ozer��s bet stood, Lim moved all in and Ozer instantly folded.
Quedley then told Ozer he would receive a penalty of 12 hands �C effectively two orbits �C calculated by the number of players at the table multiplied by two. Ozer wasn��t happy and argued the point to any floor staff that would listen, but Quedley cited Ozer��s deliberate acting out of turn, combined with inappropriate table chat during the hand, and deemed that the ruling would stand.
Ozer��s stack of 30,000 is now dwindling away with the blinds and antes taking their toll as he stands on the rail watching on in disbelief.
