Griffiths Doubles; Rikki Falls

Rikki Papesch was under the gun when he found himself holding {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. He decided now was a good time to shove his around 12,000-chip stack in the middle. Unfortunately for Papesch, Kristina Griffiths woke up with {a-Hearts}{a-Spades} a couple of seats to his left. Griffiths got her stack in the middle as well and the rest of the table got out of the way.

If there was a silver lining for Papesch, it may have been that Griffiths had slightly less chips than him and therefore he wasn't eliminated when the {10-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board was spread along the felt.

However, after that disappointing hand, Papesch was left with less than a big blind and would find himself all in, yet again holding {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. This time he was up against an opponent's {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} and the {8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Clubs} board would do him no favours as he was sent to the rail.
