Hanley Sends Prager to the Exit

Josh Prager won the Ante Up World Championship Main Event just three weeks ago at the AUPT's Thunder Valley stop. His first entry into the Ante Up Atlantis Main Event, however, is already over.

Prager came up on the wrong end of consecutive hands, the first coming against Ryan Awwad. Awwad and Prager got to the river of a {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board, both players checked, and Awwad took down a modest-sized pot with {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

On the following hand, the pot was much bigger, with Prager going all in preflop from the small blind for 18,000. Dick Hanley called from the big blind.

Josh Prager: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Dick Hanley: {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}

The call from Hanley was bad news for Prager, with Hanley well ahead preflop. The runout came {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts}{q-Hearts}, and Prager, a late registrant, is out quickly in Day 1a.
