"3AHYDA" Goes Wire-to-Wire to Win the 888poker XL Autumn Series $162 Mystery Bounty
3AHYDA was already guaranteed to be the biggest winner in the 888poker XL Autumn Series $162 Mystery Bounty even before the final table. The Mexican player was the lucky one to pull the $20,000 envelope yesterday.
But their journey wasnt done there, and it ended with 3AHYDA holding every chip in play after defeating SuiC1deKin9 heads-up to win the title and $15,400 top prize.
3AHYDA more than tripled their previous highest cash with the $36,886 total they earned on the virtual felt today. They won $10,000 for finishing second in a $1,000 event on 888poker in July 2022, and won a mystery bounty tournament in April for $3,719. But not even those two scores came close to matching what they pulled off today.

Final Table action
3AHYDA began the final table as the chip leader with 3,172,818 when play resumed at 7 p.m. GMT. Hvalavam was the short stack but cracked Bartu79s set to double up early. Hvalavam then flopped a set on Bartu79, and no miracles arrived this time as Bartu79 was sent to the rail in eighth place.
The two players who started the day at the top of the counts then tangled in a massive pot. Both 3AHYDA and SuiC1deKin9 hit a pair of kings, but SuiC1deKin9 won the pot and secured a double up with a queen-kicker to knock 3AHYDA" from atop the leaderboard.
Swedish Twitch streamer Simon Snygren Nygren then busted Hvalavam in seventh when the short stack shoved for around 1,200,000 with ace-seven but ran into ace-ten. Shortly after, SuiC1deKin9 hit trips to knock out 8Packed in sixth place.
3AHYDA began their comeback by eliminating Svarozhits in fifth place, spiking an ace on the river to crack pocket jacks. 3AHYDA and Con88 then got involved in a raising war on a nine-high flop that ended when 3AHYDA had their last 1,845,015 in the middle with a pair of kings and Con88 showed down jack-nine. Con88 couldnt improve on the turn and river as 3AHYDA doubled up.
Con88 was left on an extreme short stack and was eliminated by SuiC1deKin9 the next hand. Nygren then doubled up off SuiC1deKin9 three times to jump back into contention as 3AHYDA opened a big lead over his two opponents during three-handed play.
SuiC1deKin9 was all in for 1,738,341 with ace-eight against 3AHYDAs king-jack as the flop brought a king, but SuiC1deKin9 made a running straight to stay alive. Nygren wouldnt have the same luck after calling off their last 2,035,704 with ace-seven. 3AHYDA had nine-eight and flopped trip eights to bust Nygren in third place.
3AHYDA led 12,310,318 to 3,121,682 at the start of heads-up and didnt wait long before widening the lead. They made a pot-sized bet of 1,478,000 on the river and SuiC1deKin9 called only for 3AHYDA to show a rivered two pair. SuiC1deKin9 cracked a flopped set with a turned straight to double up, but was knocked back down to just over 2,000,000 when they got their last chips in with king-ten.
3AHYDA had ace-four as the flop brought a king to give SuiC1deKin9 the lead. The turn, though, was an ace and 3AHYDA took the lead. A safe river secured the title for 3AHYDA after a wire-to-wire final table performance.
The XL Autumn Series on 888poker concludes next week with the $250 Mystery Bounty Main Event, featuring a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool. Starting flights take place up to October 2, with the series ending on October 3 with the crowning of a champion.
PokerNews will be back providing live updates in a weeks time, but for now, it was 3AHYDA who had the tournament of their lifetime here today.
