"Spider444" Wins the Most Classic of Coinflips

Level 30 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Belarusian "spider444" virtually committed his stack preflop when making it 580,000 to go with only 325,587 behind. "TheSecretVMS" in the small blind moved in over the top, and "spider444" made the call.

"Spider444": {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}
"TheSecretVMS": {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}

The queens would stay in front after the {10-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop and the {4-Hearts} turn. The river {K-Spades} was exactly what the doctor ordered for the Belarusian, who collected the pot of almost two million chips.

A Pair of Fives Makes "Wall2Wall3b" a Real Contender

Level 29 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

In the biggest hand of the tournament so far "vpedote" raised to 60,000 from early position, Adrian "ADRI_ATM" Mateos reraised to 120,000 before "Wall2Wall3b" of Canada moved in for 920,488 total. Back on "vpedote" he committed his stack as well, with just 130,050 chips more, and Mateos called to put them both at risk.

"Wall2Wall3b": {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
"vpedote2": {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Mateos: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The Fives were out ahead, and it stayed that way until after river, as the board ran out {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{J-Spades}{3-Spades}{Q-Hearts}.

Fabrizio "DrMiKee" Gonzalez Runs Into Aces

Level 29 : 30,000/60,000, 7,500 ante

Fabrizio "DrMiKee" Gonzalez made it 90,000 to go, and only "poohmanCZ" made the call out of the big blind. The flop came {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}, and when checked to Gonzalez bet 45,000, which was quickly called.

The {4-Spades} prompted the same action again - check-45,000-call - before the {9-Spades} river made Gonzalez check behind. That was a smart decision, as "poohmanCZ" had the Nut Full House with {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}, and was awarded the pot.

Gonzalez seems to have turned up the aggression the last couple of orbits, but haven't quite managed to catch up to the average stack yet.

Adrian Mateos Makes Full House to Regain Chip Lead

Level 28 : 22,500/45,000, 5,625 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

"LABOMBA1961" raised UTG to 95,555 and only Adrian "ADRI_ATM" Mateos made the call in the big blind. The flop came {3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{9-Spades}, and Mateos check/raised the bet of 147,000 to a healthy 384,000. "LABOMBA1961" calles.

The turn was the {A-Spades}, and now Mateos put his opponent all-in for 752,801 chips effective, which was eventually called by "LABOMBA1961".

Mateos had caught a lucky break with his {A-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}, and was way ahead of the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} of his opponent. The river {9-Hearts} improved Mateos' hand to a Full House, and the Spanish Poker Pro could scoop up the massive pot.
