Tastanis Crowned Bounty King
The €165 Mega Knockout Side Event attracted a big field of 344 entries the previous night and a prize pool of €33,024 emerged. Of the buy-in €100 went to the prize pool and each knockout secured another payday of €50 for the winner of the hand.
Play was halted at around 3 a.m. local time and the final nine players returned to play down to a champion as of 3 p.m. local time. The field was quickly reduced to the final five when Michail Tastanis pushed over the top of a raise by Luis Larrosa and a jam by Juan Batalle.
