Raghav Bansal is a top Indian professional poker player, who resides in New Delhi. Bansal specializes in multi-table tournaments.
Bansal first became known to PokerNews when he appeared at the 2015 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas. He cashes in a handful of events, including a ninth-place finish in the $2,500 No-Limit Hold'em event for $39,508. That result remained Bansal's largest haul for less than six months because he won a 100,000 rupees buy-in tournament in Panjim in January 2016 for the equivalent of $45,214.
In mid-2016 and early 2017, Bansal spent time in Macau, where he enjoyed plenty of success. It was in Macau, in a HK$50,000 buy-in Macau Poker Cup event, that Bansal collected $137,587 for a runner-up finish. Bansal's beat that score a few months later, in April 2017, finishing second in the PokerStars Championship Macau for a new career-best worth $335,910.
Bensal is a regular feature at the WSOP, and has over 45 in-the-money finishes to date.
