Patrick Tardif

Patrick 'Egption' Taridf is a Canadian poker Twitch streamer and member of the WPT Global brand ambassador team.

After graduating from the University of Western Ontario, Tardif relocated to South Korea to teach English as a foreign language. However, he quit his teaching career in 2017 and transitioned full-time to being a Twitch poker streamer. He was also a professional HALO player.

Tardif has amassed $11 million in online poker tournament cashes and has more than $500,000 in live tournament earnings. In October 2017, Tardif finished third in the $600 Run It Up Reno VI event for $21,840, his first five-figure haul. That prize remained Tardif's best until January 2019, when he banked $56,800 after a deep run in the $25,000 buy-in PokerStars Players Championship in The Bahamas.

At the 2019 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Tardif finished ninth in the $5,000 No-Limit Hold'em 6-Handed event for a new career-high score worth $59,338.

Tardif collected CAD$210,947 ($159,157) after finishing as runner-up to Peter Chung in the CAD$2,500 event at the 2020 WPT Fallsview festival, which remains his largest haul in the live poker arena.

More recently, at the 2023 WSOP, Tardif finished 97th out of 10,043 entrants in the $10,000 Main Event and won $78,900.

Becoming a WPT Global Brand Ambassador

WPT Global signed Tardif as a brand ambassador in May 2024. The Canadian joined Phil Ivey, Brad Owen, Angel Guillen, Jon Van Fleet, Ethan Yau, and Xuan Liu.
