Georgios Sotiropoulos

Georgios Sotiropoulos is a Greek poker player. He has won three World Series of Poker bracelets and has amassed over $3.3 million in live earnings as of December 2021.

Poker Achievements

Sotiropoulos' first poker cashes came on the European Poker Tour, with the largest cash of his career coming in the 2013 EPT Prague Main Event. He finished second for �700,000 after a heads-up deal with Julian Track.

The following year he attended his first WSOPand then made his first WSOP final table in Las Vegas in 2015. He won his first bracelet in Event #8: �1,100 No Limit Hold'em Turbo at the 2015 WSOP Europe. He was the third Greek bracelet-winner in WSOP history.

The following January, he added the Latin American Poker Tour Bahamas Main Event title for $308,220.

His second bracelet came in the 2021 WSOP Online in Event #6: $200 FLIP & GO, and followed that with a third bracelet with the WSOP's return to Las Vegas later that year.

He won Event #65: $1,000 Mini Main Event for $432,575 after defeating a field of 3,821 players.

In 2023, Sotiropoulous made a run to the top nine of the WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas. He outlasted a field of 3,835 in a tournament that offered a $40 million guarantee. He shared the final table with the likes of Chris Moorman, Ben Heath, and Andrew Lichtenberger.
