How To Qualify
There are two ways you can grab a $4,500 WSOP package, each starting with extremely low buy-in amounts. The first is through the step satellite system that has buy-ins as low as 1,200 player points, increasing gradually up to the weekly $245 Final Stage that awards one $4,500 package per 20 entrants.
You can buy into any of the stages, so if you only have a small bankroll you could buy-in at Stage 1 or the quarter-final, or if you have a more substantial bankroll, you could buy into the final directly. The stages are shown in the graphic below:
Along with the standard satellite tournaments, PKR is also running lottery tournaments where you do not even have to be logged in to participate! This is because the starting stacks are set at just a single chip and the blinds at such a level that each player is all-in every hand. This method allows Lady Luck to decide whether or not you get your hands on a $4,500 WSOP package.
Again, like the standard satellite system, players can buy into any stage they like and do not have to win each available stage. The graphic below shows the lotteries' various buy-in levels:
