The weekly $3.00+$0.50 ($50 added) Tuesday event was won by ��Kaupo5,�� this past week and they earned a respectable 15 points. The leaderboard is still led by "Basker2b3" as two scores including a victory in a weekly $5.00+$1.00 ($100 added) Friday event was worth 30 points.

With the leaderboard such an open field at the moment, it will only take one big result to put them right in the mix. You can see below how points are awarded in the Tuesday tournaments, and for the Friday tournaments, simply double the points.

While it may be daunting to see ��basker2b3,�� at the top of the leader board with 33 points, it really won��t be hard for players to catch if they start playing soon. It will be especially easy to skyrocket up the leaderboard if players get involved in the upcoming VIP freerolls.
There are a total of three VIP freerolls taking place before the Carbon Poker League ends, taking place Thursday, Nov. 3; Thursday, Dec. 1; and Thursday, Dec. 29. That means the closest freeroll is kicking off in just a few days.

As you can see, in this early stage of the league, finishing in the top few players in the Nov. 3 VIP freeroll will place players right up the top of the leaderboard and give them the best chance of finishing in the top 30, who will qualify to take part in the Big Final on Jan. 8 at 1800 GMT (1100 PDT).
The Big Final is set to award a huge amount of cash and below is an outline of how the tournament will payout its eventual winners.
