WSOP Online Poker Site

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is set to make a move that will change the online poker game in the US with the upcoming launch of WSOP Online, a new platform that will bring players from three states together.

Poker players in Nevada and New Jersey are already competing against each other on WSOP.com, while those in Michigan have a separate single-state site. But that's going to change soon with the trio of states being merged together on one online poker site ahead of the 2024 WSOP, which begins May 28 at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. Pennsylvania's WSOP site will not be part of the shared liquidity deal.

On top of the merger news that has helped to fully cement it as one of the top rated US poker sites, the WSOP has announced via a press release plans to host 30 online bracelet events this summer on the new WSOP Online.

Making Poker History

For the first time ever, a legal and licensed poker site within the US will have three separate states merged together. Beyond the increased player pool, Caesars Entertainment will be upgrading the software in time for the merger.

This platform upgrade is long overdue and is a big win for our players, said Danielle Barille, Vice President of Online Poker at Caesars Digital. The best is yet to come for WSOP Online tournaments, and were thrilled to bring Michigan players into the fold with Nevada and New Jersey, resulting in a better experience, more value, and the biggest prize pools of the year.

WSOP.com's players in Nevada and New Jersey should go online immediately to go through the pre-registration process to create an account on the new platform. Customers can choose a new username if they so desire. The current platform will remain in operation until May 27 when the software upgrade takes place.

Following the conclusion of the upgrade, players will be prompted to install the new WSOP Online software.

Starting June 1, WSOP Online will host the first online bracelet event of the summer with the last of 30 events taking place July 21. Bracelet events will take place every Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday. The series is highlighted by a $10,000 buy-in Championship event on July 11 and five hybrid high roller tournaments with the final tables being played out live in Las Vegas.

WSOP Online Poker Merger FAQs

What is shared liquidity?

Shared liquidity in poker refers to the pooling of players and funds across multiple jurisdictions or networks to create a larger player pool and increase the number of games available.
