WPT Global has announced the signing of popular online poker player and streamer Patrick "Egption" Tardif as a brand ambassador. In addition, Xuan Liu has renewed her contract with the online poker home of the World Poker Tour (WPT). The pair are kept company on Team WPT Global by figures such as Phil Ivey, Brad Owen, Ethan Yau, Jon Van Fleet, and Angel Guillen.

Tardif is a Canadian poker pro living in South Korea who once played Halo professionally. Known for streaming his online poker sessions, Tardif has a 54,300-strong Twitch following, and those followers will now see their hero playing more at WPT Global.

Tardif has over $11 million in online cashes and an additional $503,000 from live poker tournaments. At last year's World Series of Poker (WSOP), Tardif finished 97th from 10,043 entries in the $10,000 Main Event, a result that saw him add $78,900 to his bankroll. His largest live score is CAD$210,947 ($159,157), his reward for a runner-up finish in the CAD$2,500 event at the 2020 WPT Fallsview festival.

"I am eager to join WPT Global as an ambassador," said Tardif. "WPT Global's commitment to innovation and delivering a world-class poker experience aligns perfectly with my passion for the game. I can't wait to start connecting with the community and battle in the huge tournaments and cash games WPT Global has to offer."
