Guilherme "GZingano" Zingano Wins Biggest PokerStars Sunday Million Season Prize So Far
The PokerStars Sunday Million Season completed its second week on March 18, and Brazilian Guilherme "GZingano" Zingano will look back on Week 2 with fond memories. While the online poker community was buzzing with excitement after the 2024 Spring Championship Of Online Poker (SCOOP) announcement, Zingano was one of 95 PokerStars players returning for Day 2 of the $1 million guaranteed Sunday Million PKO.
The $109 buy-in event drew 10,646 entrants, creating a guarantee-busting $1,046,000 prize pool. Zingano collected $83,490 of that princely sum, the largest haul from any of the completed PokerStars Sunday Million Season so far.

9 | magnolium | Romania | $5,918 | $4,829 | $10,747 |
All but one of the nine finalists saw their PokerStars account balance swell by five figures, and it wasn't ninth-place finisher "magnolium" who was that player. "magnolium" bowed out in ninth yet still took home $10,747 for their efforts, courtesy of claiming over $5,900 worth of progressive bounties.
Eighth-place finisher "nik_meat" of Ukraine was the only player at the final table not to take home at least $10,000, although the $9,677 they collected was not far off.
The title hopefuls fell by the wayside one by one. "SaoJorge2222" fell in seventh for $11,204, with Sweden's "NEED100KFAST" banking $14,488 for their exit in sixth. The tournament progressed to the heads-up stage once "CampCrusher85" ($28,156), "daria130399" ($30,357), and New Zealand's "Thrumbo" ($42,888) were each relieved of their chips.
Zingano faced Lithuanian "Sajanas23" in the one-on-one battle for the title. The night belonged to the Brazilian, who resigned "Sajanas23" to a most respectable $67,694 consolation prize while reeling in the $83,490 top prize for himself.
"cooper_696" Rakes in $10,000 Prize from the $11 Super Sunday
$11 doesn't buy you much these days, but it was enough to get you into the Super Sunday PKO at PokerStars this weekend. Ukraine's "cooper_696" and 15,953 others paid $11 for the chance to become a PokerStars champion and collect the largest slice of the $156,349 prize pool
The final table dished out some impressive prizes in relation to the affordable $11 buy-in. Everyone from fifth-place upwards padded their bankrolls with over $2,600.
Fifth-place finisher "Havana85" turned their $11 into $2,685, with "Mr.Acar" scooping $3,806 immediately after falling in fourth. Rogerio "RCP.Lima" Lima busted in third, a finish worth $5,777 to the Brazilian, which left "cooper_696" heads-up against "surprise0007."
Both players locked in over $6,500 from the regular prize pool, leaving the now juicy final bounty payments to play for. "cooper_696" came out on top, and walked away with a total haul worth $10,383, leaving "surprise0007" to pick up a $7,693 runner-up payout.
In addition to their prize money, the nine finalists also received a free shot at the big time: a $215 ticket to the upcoming Sunday Million 8th Anniversary event, which has $8 million guaranteed!

"Tr!pleeeee" Claims $1,050 Super Sunday Title for Poland
The $1,050 buy-in Super Sunday was done and dusted in one evening's play, with Polish grinder "Tr!pleeeee" coming out on top of a 335-strong field and getting their hands on $50,929 of the $335,000 prize pool.
Plenty of big names entered the fray and navigated their way to the nine-handed final table. They included British pro Mathew "matfrankland" Frankland, Brazilian Eder "edercampana" Campana, and Mexico-based star Gleb "Ti0373" Tremzin.
Tremzin's demise in third left obvious Liverpool FC fan "Klopp4zeKop" heads-up against "Trpleeeee." In a battle for the chunkiest of bounties. Both of the heads-up players had bulldozed their way to the top two finishing places, meaning the difference in total prize money was not as substantial as in similar tournaments.
When "Tr!pleeeee" came out on top, they saw $50,929 land in their PokerStars account, with "Klopp4zeKop" receiving a prize tipping the scales at $43,304.
