PokerStars Big Game on Tour

The PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) is only a few weeks away, and the excitement surrounding the returning tour is reaching fever pitch. November 4 sees the NAPT return to the United States after a 12-year hiatus, and while PokerNews will provide you with updates from the $1,100 Mystery Bounty, the $5,300 NAPT High Roller, the $1,650 Main Event, and the $10,300 NAPT Super High Roller, you will be able to tune into a live stream throughout the NAPT Las Vegas festival at the iconic Resorts World Las Vegas integrated luxury resort on the Strip.

The NAPT live stream will be doing what it does best on Twitch and YouTube across three dates during the 2023 NAPT Las Vegas festival. November 10 sees James Hartigan, Joe "Stapes" Stapleton, Maria Ho, Griffin Benger, and Nick Walsh provide commentary and analysis of Day 3 of the $1,650 NAPT Las Vegas Main Event.

The coverage continues on November 11 with the Main Event's final table before concluding on November 12 when the $5,300 NAPT Las Vegas High Roller final table takes place at Resorts World Las Vegas.

Brazilian NAPT fans can tune into coverage of a Brazilian-Portuguese stream anchored by Felipe de Paulo, and Flavio de Valle.

It is not only NAPT coverage that is landing on your screens because PokerStars has announced the return of the ever-popular cash game format known as The Big Game. Having run for two seasons in 2010 and 2011, The Big Game captivated audiences worldwide thanks to its unique format involving the famous "Loose Cannon."

While The Big Game was mostly frequented by top-tier professional poker players, the "Loose Cannon" was a qualifier who was bankroll to play against them. Sessions spanned across 150 intense hands, with the "Loose Cannon" allowed to keep any profit they made if they survived until the end of the session.

PokerStars North America Vice President Steve Preiss is delighted The Big Game is returning with a bang.

"The Big Game was one of the most beloved poker programs of all time. As we continue our focus on creating the best poker content, re-imagining and re-launching The Big Game was a no-brainer."

"The Big Game on Tour will bring a level of play that hardcore fans expect from poker content," continued Preiss. "But we also will capture the journey from start to finish of our Loose Cannon in a way that hopefully reaches new audiences as well."

At the NAPT Las Vegas on November 5, PokerStars is running exclusive satellites giving players the chance to qualify for The Big Game on Tour for free. Shootout tournaments will see 20 winners advance to the casting stage on November 6-7, where they will audition for a seat in the game.

A panel of judges, including the show's hosts, Hartigan and Stapleton, will decide which two players they think are deserving of an invitation to be staked $50,000 so they can rub shoulders with some truly great opponents.

PokerStars is keeping its cards close to its chest regarding The Big Game on Tour's line-up, but you should get some idea when two $100/$200 No-Limit Hold'em cash game tables run at NAPT Las Vegas on November 8-9.
