Global Poker Kicks Off Grand Prix Turbo Series Austin; Prepares for Eagle Cup

Things are heating up on Global Poker as the Grand Prix Turbo Series Austin Edition kicked off today (Friday, October 20) and will run through Sunday.
Three days of high-speed action in the electrifying series will give players a chance to win their dream Ferrari experience. The season-long Sweeps Coin Leaderboard winner will secure an exclusive trip for two to the Ferrari factory in Maranello, Italy. The prize includes a Ferrari driving course, a tour of the Ferrari Maranello factory, and travel and accommodation for two for three days.
Additionally, the winner will receive a driver-autographed Ferrari racing helmet, Global Poker Grand Prix Turbo Series swag, and 4 x SC 99 MTT entries.
Throughout the series, event winners will receive exclusive merchandise, including Global Poker Grand Prix Turbo Series checkered flags, hoodies, T-shirts, caps, socks, and fuzzy dice.
The series features guarantees of GC 55,000,000 and SC 110,000 for the Main Events on Sunday October 22, and will have players screaming for the checkered flag for their slice of GC 25,000,000 and SC 50,000 in added turbocharged Main Event prizes.
The Austin race (running October 20�C22) marks the third in the four-part series, with the final pit stop in Las Vegas (November 16�C18). Global Poker has already hit the tracks in Miami and Montreal. Each event contributes to the overall Seasonal Leaderboards, where the ultimate Grand Prix Turbo Series Champion will be crowned.
