RunGood's Daniel Lowery Wins 11th Circuit Ring at WSOPC Choctaw

The 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOPC) Choctaw stop is currently underway and last week saw Daniel Lowery winning his 11th Circuit ring, becoming just the fifth player to ever reach that number along with Ari Engel (11 rings), Valentin Vornicu (12 rings), Josh Reichard (13 rings) and Maurice Hawkins (14 rings).
Lowery, an Arkansas native and RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) ambassador with nearly $2.4 million in live earnings, according to The Hendon Mob, joined that elite list of Circuit grinders by taking down Event #2: $500 No-Limit Hold'em - 'The Gargantuan' for $102,511.
Rising Up the Ring List
The Arkansas grinder has been moving up the ring list in a hurry. Just a few months ago, he won number ten at WSOPC Aruba, where he took down the final event of the series, Event #14: Last Chance No-Limit Hold'em, for $10,286.
In 2019 alone, Lowery won three rings at WSOPC Tulsa (Event #5: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack - $17,657), WSOPC Tunica (Event #2: $400 No-Limit Hold'em - $52,378) and WSOPC New Orleans (Event #3: $400 No-Limit Hold'em - $15,952).
To win the 11th ring, Lowery had to get through a field of 1,627 runners in an event that generated $573,910 in prize money. In the end, Lowery defeated Carson City's Ian Steinman to earn the runner-up $63,350, while others at the final table included Chase Davis (3rd - $47,067), Zachary Wolf (5th - $26,853) and Larry McCracken (7th - $16,023).

Other Choctaw Winners
While Lowery's victory has been the most memorable, there have been plenty of other winners so far at the Oklahoma Circuit stop. The series kicked off with California's Miki Murzi taking down Event #1: $300 No-Limit Hold'em Monster Stack for $20,137.
Later, Texas' James Fritts won Event #3: $300 No-Limit Hold'em - 'The Twilight' for $22,502, while fellow Texan David Galyean went on to win Event #4: $300 No-Limit Hold'em for $19,506. After that, Georgia's Amandeep Chima took down Event #5: $400 Pot-Limit Omaha for $17,772 and New Jersey's Sergio Ramirez emerged victorious in Event #6: $400 No-Limit Hold'em Double Stack for $22,584.
There's plenty of action still to come at WSOPC Choctaw as the $1,700 buy-in Main Event is slated to get underway today before a winner is declared on Jan. 14.
