Mike Watson Leads the Race For $341K Super MILLION$ Top Prize
Table Of Contents
Mike Watson will hope history does not repeat itself when he takes his seat at the GGPoker Super MILLION$ final table at 6:00 p.m. GMT on November 29. Watson has more than twice the number of chips as anyone else at the final table, making him the hot favorite to win his first Super MILLION$ title.
Watson found himself in a similar position in March 2022. He took his seat armed with a stack of chips worth 126 big blinds, with Artur Martirosian second with 55 big blinds. That day, Martirosian came back and captured his fourth Super MILLION$ title after an epic triple-barrel check-raise clinched the victory. There is no Martirosian this time around, which could be a good omen for Watson. The chip leader enters the battle with 5,625,749 chips (141 big blinds)

Watson's fellow Canadian "GoProWarrior" is second in chips at the restart, courtesy of his 2,782,919 stack (70 big blinds). GoProWarrior is a former Super MILLION$ champion, having emerged victoriously in August 2022. The victory denied Niklas Astedt a record sixth Super MILLION$ title. GoProWarrior will be hoping for another upset tonight.
Mexico-based "joyeux" is only a handful of chips behind GoProWarrior; they have 2,518,151 chips (63 big blinds). Joyeux's best finish in this $10,300 buy-in event was a fifth place back n mid-January. They banked $158,689 that day as Isaac Haxton marched on to victory. Finishing seventh or better today pushed joyeux's GGPoker winnings past the $1 million mark,
Fourth place at the restart belongs to Jans Arends, a player with more than $6.6 million in GGPoker winnings. Arends has finished as runner-up twice, so will be hopeful of not completing an unwanted hat trick. Arends sits down at the final table in the middle of the pack, armed with 1,620,453 chips (41 big blinds) and with a realistic shot at adding the Super MILLION$ to his WSOP bracelet, GGMasters, and GG Spring Championship titles.

Andrii Novak is in the hunt for his first Super MILLION$ title. The Ukrainian has dozens of Super MILLION$ cashes and final table appearances under his belt, in addition to an impressive winnings tally weighing in at more than $7.85 million. Finishing fourth or deeper tonight will mean Novak joins a short list of players with more than $8 million in winnings at GGPoker. Novak continues his quest for a maiden Super MILLION$ victory with 1,069,640 chips (27 big blinds).
Everyone below Novak in the chip counts has fewer than one million chips in their stacks. Nikita Kuznetsov has 893,960 chips (22 big blinds), which is enough for sixth place right now. Until today, Kuznetsov has never cashed in the Super MILLION$, but they are far from an unknown quantity because they have more than $3.6 million in winnings at GGPoker alone. Kuznetsov has a lot of work ahead of them if they are to cause an upset but they are capable of doing so.
Just below Kuznetsov is where you find Roman Hrabec and his 852,950 chips (21 big blinds). Hrabec is not a Super MILLION$ regular, which is possibly one of the reasons he sold 75% of his action via the GGPoker in-built staking software. Marius Gierse bought 40% and Eelis Parssinen almost 23%. Having those guys in your corner means anything is possible!
Johannes "Hazes" Straver finished 14th in this event on November 14, narrowly missing out on a final table seat. Straver has made it to the finale this time around, albeit with the second-shortest stack of 839,652 chips (21 big blinds). Straver's stack is not ideal, but he is not in push-or-fold territory just yet.
Bringing up the rear is Israel's "brino," who has one Super MILLION$ victory to their name in addition to a trio of GG Online Championship titles. brino takes their seat at the final table with 596,526 chips (15 big blinds), which is far from ideal but at least it makes their decision making simpler.
