RGPS Bay Area $200K Guaranteed Main Event Set to Run Sept. 16-18
The RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) is headed to northern California for RGPS Contenders Bay Area, which will take place Sept. 13-18.
The Bay Area stop at Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park will feature a $600 buy-in Main Event with a $200,000 guarantee, in addition to a handful of events that will award the recently reintroduced Championship Rings.
ProAM Ticket Up for Grabs
RGPS Bay Area will kick off on Sept. 13 with a $250 buy-in Seniors NLH event in the morning and a $250 6-Max NLH event in the afternoon. Later in the evening, a $200 Guest Bounty NLH event will take place and should feature plenty of RunGood ambassadors.
The next day will see two flights of a $250 NLH event with a $50,000 guarantee and a ticket to the 2022 All-Stars ProAM Event at the PokerGo studio in December up for grabs. A $300 H.O.R.S.E. event will take place the same day.
Day 2 of the ProAm ticket event will play out on Sept. 15 in addition to three other ring events, including a $300 Pot-Limit Omaha event and a $250 Black Chip Bounty event.

$200K Guaranteed
The $600 Main Event will get underway on Sept 16 with Day 1a at 11 a.m. and Day 1b at 6 p.m. The final two starting flights will take place the next day with Day 1c at 11 a.m. and Day 1d at 6 p.m.
Day 2 of the RGPS Bay Area Main Event will take place on Sept.18 and will play down to a winner, who will take home the bulk of the $200,000 guaranteed prize pool.
The final three events of the Bay Area stop will also play out on Sept. 18, including a $300 Big O event and a $200 Turbo Closer.
An Added Stop
The RGPS Bay Area stop was not initially on the RunGood schedule but was later added after the success of other stops this year. RGPS also added a new stop at Jack Casino in Cleveland, Ohio from Sept. 22-October 2.
In addition to adding the new stops, RGPS announced the exciting return of Championship rings, a handful of which will be up for grabs at RGPS Bay Area.
