Below is a look at five of either the biggest or most interesting hands from this week's episode.
Eights Not Great for Bord
After James Bord straddled to $400, Destrade raised to $1,500 from early position with the K?K? and Pope called from the button with the K?Q?. Ercolano came along from the small blind holding 5?5?, and then Bord three-bet to $7,000 after looking down at the 8?8? in the straddle.
Destrade four-bet jammed for $24,900 and action folded back to Bord, who opted to call. The duo agreed to run it twice, which gave Bord two shots at getting lucky.
The J?3?Q?K?2? first runout secured Destrade half the pot on the turn, and the 4?6?10?9?6? on the second runout gave him the other half as Bord bricked. Ship the $53,200 pot to Destrade.
A Spicy Bord
Pope opened for $600 holding the 9?7? in early position and Dan Shak called from the cutoff with the A?10?. Bord then three-bet to $3,500 from the button with the Q?8?, both Pope and Shak called, and the flop came down Q?10?3?.
Two checks saw Bord continue for $10,000, Pope folded, and Shak called with middle pair and a backdoor club draw. After the dealer burned and turned the J?, action went check-check and the 5? completed the board on the river.
Shak came out with a bet of just $7,000 into the pot of $31,000, and Bord paused for a few beats before dropping in a call. With that, he pulled in a pot worth $45,000.
Poker After Crack
Bord raised the small blind to $3,100 with the K?6? and Pope defended his straddle holding the 7?6?. Bord flopped two pair on the K?6?3? flop and fired out $4,000, which Pope snap-called after flopping second pair.
On the 2? turn, Bord bet $10,000 and once again Pope snap-called.
As fast as you guys are playing were going to have like 600 hands on Poker After Dark, Jake Daniels said.
This is how speed poker should be played, Destrade quipped. This is Poker After Crack.
While the table let out a collective laugh, the 10? completed the board on the river. Bord bet again, this time $17,000, and Pope thought long and hard before giving up on the $49,600 pot.
Running It Twice for Six-Figure Pot
With a double straddle on, Bord raised to $2,100 with the A?6? on the button. Destrade three-bet to $8,000 with the J?J? in the big blind, both straddlers folded, and Bord called to see a flop of 2?8?4?.
Destrade checked and Bord ripped all in. Destrade had $45,900 behind and called it off. The players agreed to run it twice for the $108,500 pot.
Im ok chopping, said Destrade. Im not greedy.
The J? turn improved Destrade to a set, but the Q? river was bingo for Bord, who locked up the first half of the pot with a rivered flush.
On the second runout, the 7? turn gave Bord a gutshot straight draw, but he bricked when the 2? peeled off on the river. Chop it up.
Pocket Rockets for Daniels
Daniels raised to $1,300 under the gun with the A?A? and action folded around to Destrade in the straddled. He looked down at the 9?8? and opted to defend to see a 9?2?6? flop. Destrade check-called a bet of $900 and the A? appeared on the turn to improve Daniels to a set.
Destrade checked again but still called when Daniels bet $2,800. On the 7? river, Destrade checked for the third time and Daniels bet $7,400.Destrade wasted little time in making the call only to see the $25,300 pushed to Daniels.
