Anton Wigg Bags Himself a Brace of Sunday Titles
Anton "Bomber&Granater" Wigg is considered to be one of the best poker tournament players of his generation. The former EPT Copenhagen champion added to his already glowing reputation by securing two Sunday titles in the online poker world on May 16.
Wigg's first victory came in the $1,050 Sunday High Roller at PokerStars, a tournament that drew in a crowd of 224 players. All but two of the eight players who navigated their way through the shark-infested waters to reach the final table walked away with a five-figure prize. "ULOSEMFKR!!" and Sam "Str8$$$Homey" Greenwood were those two players.
Dmitry "yurasov1990" Yurasov banked $12,352 for his sixth place finish before "diego efe33" fell in fifth for a $16,258 addition to their bankroll.
Japan's "Khun Eduan" joined the list of busted players before the final three stars struck a deal for the remaining prize pool. Jans "Graftekkel" Arends banked $36,722, David "MissOracle" Yan collected $38,565, with Wigg walking away with $38,732 and the title of champion.

WhatIfGod Secures Sunday Supersonic Title
Wigg almost won another PokerStars tournament in the shape of the $1,050 Sunday Supersonic. The Austria-based Swede found himself at a star-studded final table that included Pascal "P?ffchen" Hartmann, Olli "Er?_Koira" Ikonen, and Ami "UhhMee" Barer.
That trio bowed out, leaving Wigg to battle three-handed with "Ortega.And" and "WhatIfGod." It was not meant to be for Wigg and he had to make do with the $11,644 third-place prize. WhatIfGod then sent his final opponent to the rail to lock up the $20,838 top prize.

Dvoress Clinches His First GGPoker Super MILLION$ Title
Wigg Wins Again, This Time at GGPoker
The second of Wigg's impressive victories came in the $525 Sunday High Rollers Fast at GGPoker. Wigg outlasted 100 opponents on his way to picking up the $11,729 top prize, including Alexandre "raking-even" Raymond who finished in second-place.
Earlier at the final table, PokerNews strategy columnist Jonathan "Scopesman" Little fell in ninth. Little was joined in the role of spectator first by David Yan, then by Gustavo "HashLover710" Castro, Rodrigo Selouan, and Tyler "TheRayGuy" Cornell.
China's "Baobaojun2" crashed out in fourth before Felipe Ramos fell by the wayside in third, leaving Wigg to defeat Raymond heads-up.

Drinan Wins WSOPC High Rollers Event
Connor Drinan came out on top of a compact yet star-studded field of 31 entrants in the $3,150 Blade Bounty King.
Only four players won a slice of the main prize pool, Elio Fox being the first of that quartet to cash.
Dario Sammartino could not quite make it to the final hurdle and had to make so with a third-place finish. David Coleman and Drinan locked horns heads-up, and Drinan emerged from the final fight victoriously. Coleman secured a combined prize worth $19,158., leaving Drinan to bank $38,949 with bounties included.

2021 WPT Online Series Includes $3M GTD Main Event
Billy Irvine Becomes a WPT Online Series Champion
Billy Irvine walked away with a WPT Online Series title and more than $81,000 this weekend. Irvin came out on top in the $1,050 Opener and secured an $81,841 payout.
The bounty element meant all but one of the seven finalists walked away with a five-figure prize. Rodrigo Selouan was that player, he won $7,533.
Casimir Seire and Joel Nystedt busted before Alexander Van Der Swaluw saw his tournament end abruptly in fourth place for $25,885.
British online poker legend Conor Beresford crashed out in third for $32,241, which set up a one-on-one battle with Ronnie Lemmens and Irvine. Irvine got the job done and his hands on $81,841 leaving Irvine to collect the $81,841 top prize and the title of champion.

Addamo Takes Down Yet Another High Roller
Michael Addamo shines brightly during High Roller tournaments, and seems to win them with an almost unnatural ability. Addamo won another High Roller event this weekend, the $5,200 WPT High Roller Turbo at partypoker.
Only 54 players entered but the entry list read like a who's who of the poker world. Nine of those starters received a slice of the $270,000 prize pool, David Szep and David Peters cashing but falling short of the seven-handed final table.
Artur Martirosian and Joakim Andersson were the final table's first casualties. Team partypoker's Mikita Badziakouski joined them on the rail before Chris Brewer bowed out in fourth, a finish worth $24,288.
Steve O'Dwyer's tournament ended in a third-place finish worth $35,031, which left Alex Foxen and Addamo heads-up in a real clash of the titans. Addamo outfoxed Foxen and secured yet another high roller title, this one coming with a $87,459 prize. Foxen walked away with $53,715.
Amazingly, Addamo is the overwhelming chip leader going into Day 2 of the $10,300 WPT High Roller. He has 1,519,333 chips with Ramiro Petrone in second place courtesy of his 1,062,319 stack. It looks like we could be writing about another Addamo victory soon.

Five-Figure Prizes in 888poker's Big Shot Events
888poker's two biggest weekly tournaments, the $150,000 Big Shot 109 Main Event and $50,000 Big Shot 525 both paid out impressive sums to their respective champions.
"Vatrooshka" was the last player standing in the $109 buy-in edition, topping a field of 1,250. The tournament needed 1,500 players to hit its guarantee, meaning 888poker was left with a $25,000 overlay.
The champion saw their $109 investment swell to $21,915, making this a tournament with incredible value.
"DeuceofDuc0" was the winner of the $525 buy-in Big Shot 525. Victory in this event came with a $13,775 first-place prize.
