Anton Wigg Takes Down Two Sunday Majors For More Than $90K
Table Of Contents
Swedens Anton Wigg is one of the best poker tournament players in the world. Wigg has almost won it all when it comes to poker, including a European Poker Tour title and more than $10 million during his long and illustrious career.
December 13 saw Wigg hit the tables for the Sunday grind and it worked out well for him thanks to taking down a pair of tournaments for combined scores in excess of $90,000.
The first of these victories came at GGPoker in the Sunday Special $125. A bumper field of 1,844 entrants created a $212,060 prize pool and Wigg locked up the lions share of the pot, namely $31,928.
Wigg defeated Brazils Kingtale heads-up to lock up the title, resigning the runner-up to a $22,758 consolation prize.
