Alan "mossadshark" Sternberg beat 663 entries to win WSOP.com Online Finale Circuit Series Event 5 for a gold ring and $52,224.

To close out the WSOP Circuit season, which saw 14 stops either impacted or canceled due to the pandemic, the WSOP will host the ��Season Finale�� Online Circuit Event from June 3-14, which will award a guaranteed 13 spots into the Global Casino Championship (GCC). A dozen of those spots will be awarded to the winners of each event, while the final spot will go to the Casino Champ of the WSOP.com series.

The WSOP.com Online Finale Circuit Series, a 12-ring event online series that runs through June 14 for those in Nevada, New Jersey, and Delaware, wrapped up its fifth tournament on Sunday night. Event #5: $200,000 GTD Online Finale Circuit Monster Stack 3x Re-entry featured a $525 buy-in and surpassed the guarantee with a final count of 491 registered players and 172 rebuys. The 663-entry tournament offered a total prize pool of $331,500 that was paid out amongst the top 75 players with a min-cash starting at $1,060.

In the end, Alan "mossadshark" Sternberg topped the field to capture a $81,217 first-place prize, a WSOP Circuit ring, and a guaranteed spot in the online Global Casino Championship. Also at the final table were skilled players Gordon "veilleux" Vayo and Jimy "BOCARATONE" Collopy.

Big names in the field that fell short of the money included Darren "avocadotoast" Rabinowitz (77th place), William "swaggyb" Corvino (79th place), JQi Tim "LINSANITY" Ha (99th place), Aram "X69Podheiser" Zobian (121st place) and Lauren
"sycamore22" Roberts
(138th place).

The next two events on the WSOP.com Online Finale Circuit Series schedule include a $100,000 AND $150,000 guarantee at both a $320 and $1,000 buy-in price. Event #6: $100,000 GTD Online Finale Circuit Freezeout and Event #7: $150,000 GTD Online Finale Circuit High Roller 6-Max 2x Re-entry will take place on Monday (4 p.m. PST) and Tuesday (4 p.m. PST) respectively.
