Zach Gruneberg Captures Second Bounty Title of 2019 Borgata Poker Open

Saturday proved to be the busiest day of the entire 2019 Borgata Poker Open with five tournaments crowning winners. In addition to Aaron Massey taking down the Almighty Stack and Kevin Javier emerging victorious in the $1,090 6-Max, three other side events wrapped up.
Zach Gruneberg the Bounty Hunter
Event #17 of the Borgata Poker was the $1,060 Purple Chip Bounty NLH. There were 232 total entries and Zach Gruneberg (pictured above) was the last man standing in the early morning hours. Gruneberg took home $31,502 and his second Borgata Poker Open trophy of the series. He previously won Event #3: $500 Black Chip Bounty for $56,073.
"This is unreal, I don't know if anyone's ever won two bounties, especially in the same series."
This is Gruneberg's third Borgata Poker Open title and he has now earned over $1,800,000 throughout his career.

He is certainly having a series to remember and he is off to get some rest before taking his seat in the BPO Championship.

Ladies Event Ends in Five-Way Deal
The 2019 BPO Event #15: $230 Ladies NLH saw 59 runners create a prize pool of $11,446. That was paid out to the final table of nine, and the tournament came to an end when the final five players opted to work a deal.
Valerie Huang who held the chip lead at the time of the deal will take first place earning $2,570 and her first BPO trophy. Below is a full look at the final deal numbers:

Big Winners in Saturday Deepstack
The Event #14: $400 Saturday Deepstack NLH drew 502 entries and created a $170,429 prize pool. With the elimination of Justin Schwartz in sixth place, the final five players began to discuss an adjusted payout deal. The stacks were counted down and after a bit of negotiation a deal was struck.
John Jimenez who held the chip lead will take first for the lion share of the prize pool.
They then agreed to run one hand out for the trophy and WSOP bracelet winner Svetlana Gromenkova is taking home the miniature glass Borgata.
