Poker Central continues to expand its signature events with the creation of the British Poker Open festival and the Super High Roller Bowl London event.

Aspers Casino in Stratford, London is the chosen venue for the inaugural British Poker Open, a 10-event festival running from Sept. 2 through Sept. 12 and featuring tournaments with buy-ins starting at 10,000 and increasing to 100,000.

As with Poker Centrals other high roller offerings, the first on-time entry in each British Poker Open will be rake-free and whoever earns the most High Roller of the Year points during the festival will be crowned the British Poker Open champion.

"Bringing the Super High Roller Bowl and first British Poker Open to London is another milestone in our mission to highlight more players, venues, and destinations from around the world"

The Super High Roller Bowl London event follows the tried and tested formula that has seen the tour become one of the must-watch events on Poker Centrals PokerGO streaming service. This 250,000 buy-in tournament is capped at 49 entrants, with 30 open seats being made available in addition to 19 VIP seats reserved by Poker Central and Aspers Casino. Players can reserve their seat in the Super High Roller Bowl London event with a 25,000 deposit and a draw will be held to determine the field.

A projected prize pool of 12.25 million will be played for over the course of three days starting from Sept. 13 in the event, which sports a comparable buy-in to the $300,000 used for the past several U.S.-based Super High Roller Bowls. The 250,000 equates to roughly $312,000 at current exchange rates.

partypoker LIVE to sponsor both massive events

Both the British Poker Open and Super High Roller Bowl London events are sponsored by partypoker LIVE following the recent announcement of the companies striking a deal for PokerGO to have exclusive streaming rights of partypoker LIVE MILLIONS events.

Part of that deal sees a new Super High Roller Bowl event enter the fray, one in Bahamas at the upcoming 2019 Caribbean Poker Party in Baha Mar in late November.

It is expected that both London events will see some of the Team partypoker roster compete for huge sums of money. Expect to see the likes of Super High Roller Bowl regulars Isaac Haxton and Jason Koon, while Sam Trickett and Patrick Leonard may find the lure of major tournaments taking place in their home country be too strong to turn down.

Although not confirmed, don't be surprised to see recent Super High Roller Bowl China champion Justin Bonomo make the trip across the Atlantic to continue his amazing run of form in high buy-in events. Bonomo doesnt have the greatest record in the U.K. with only two of his plentiful cashes stemming from British shores. You have to go all the way back to March 2013, a third-place finish in a 10,300 8-Game Championship at European Poker Tour London worth 29,000.

Poker Central President Sam Simmons said Super High Roller Bowl London is the next step in continuing to expand the marquee event outside its home at ARIA in Las Vegas.

After our expansion of the Super High Roller Bowl into Asia two years ago, we were able to see how international audiences responded positively and the events prestige grew," he said. "Bringing the Super High Roller Bowl and first British Poker Open to London is another milestone in our mission to highlight more players, venues, and destinations from around the world through live tournament streaming on PokerGO.
