Maria Ho Busts the Main Event; Shows She's Just Like the Rest of Us

Maria Ho, who was inducted into the Women in Poker Hall of Fame last week, is a bit of a mystery. She doesn't post on social too often and when she does, it's usually a bomb shot of her at some luxurious spot, or picture perfect shots of her at the tables or hosting. She doesn't reveal much about herself and keeps you thinking, who is Maria Ho really?

Well, late Thursday night we got a glimpse and whoa! She's one of us. Playing the World Series of Poker Main Event is a dream and to bust the worst nightmare of all. And on Day 2ab, Ho fell victim to that terror and let all of Twitter know just how she felt about it.

It all started with her elimination tweet where she says, "You know you busted the Main Event when you're tipsy by 10 p.m." Yes, girl! First thought after reading this? That's everyone's go-to immediately after they bust.

But Ho didn't stop there. She gave us an entire storyline of her night and it's good. It's so good! In a sweet sentiment, Ho received a pick-me-up note from her delivery person but the best part is what she ordered fried chicken to go along with her extra pickles and red wine.

The fried goodness continued. 15 minutes later she received her second order and guess what it was more fried food. This time though, it was Raising Cane's, complete with fries and bread. Now if you've had Cane's you know this meal is bomb. True goodness.

But alas, Maria Ho was unsatisfied. She followed up her Cane's photo with a tweet that said, "The real bad beat of the day is that I ordered and paid for two extra Canes sauces and they werent in the bag." Forget that she busted the second-largest poker tournament in the history of the WSOP, the woman didn't get her sauces! Oh the humanity.

Ho tops off her night with this. And all we can say is, she's one of us and I'm loving that Ho is relatable AF. Because let's be honest, busting the Main hurts, and having your comfort food + drinks is always the best remedy to wipe away the pain.
