To celebrate the 11th Anniversary of the Bernard Lee Radio Show, the poker media personality is hosting a summer-long commemoration that includes giveaways and special guests.

Bernard Lee has been a fixture in the poker community ever since his deep run in the 2005 World Series of Poker Main Event. As a player, hes amassed more than $2.3 million in lifetime earnings, and on the media side of things he's written for ESPN.com, All-In Magazine, and penned a weekly column for the Sunday Boston Herald for seven years.

The entire team at The Bernard Lee Radio Show wants to express deep appreciation to our fans across the world who have been with us these 11 years and who support us with their input and incredible feedback, Lee said in a release. With Massachusetts casinos emerging in 2018 and 2019, we are very excited to continue our show and help the Northeast region grow along with this industry. We are positioned to help this growth for years to come.

11th Anniversary Commemoration

The show airs in the Boston area on Tuesdays at 6:00 p.m. EST on the Money Matters Radio Network (1120 AM and 102.9 FM). For those located away from the East Coast, the show is also broadcast on RoundersRadio.com, which reaches listeners in 85 countries. Finally, the show is also available as a podcast on iTunes.

We are thrilled to have one of the premier poker shows back on our network, said General Manager of Money Matters Radio Jason Wolfe. Bernard attracts first-rate guests, which always makes for compelling content. Our listeners love having the show on our airwaves.

The commemoration kicked off this past Tuesday with guest Ryan Riess, who reflected on the fifth anniversary of his win in the 2013 World Series of Poker Main Event.

Id only been playing tournaments for less than a year, so I had very little experience but I truly believed that I was going to win, Riess said on the show. Maybe I thought it was destiny, I dont know. But I truly thought I was going to win, and thats important.

If you go to a poker tournament and you dont think youre going to win, who else is going to think you're gonna win. No one else is gonna have faith in you if you dont have faith in yourself.

Next Tuesday, May 15, Lee will be joined by reigning WSOP Main Event winner Scott Blumstein, who will look back at his year as world champion. In the two following weeks, 2003 WSOP champ Chris Moneymaker will join the show on May 22 followed by WSOP VP and Tournament Director Jack Effel on May 29.

Over the course of the summer, Lee will also be giving away 11 gifts valued at $1,100, including clothing from program sponsor RunGoodGear. The giveaways will take place on social media on both Twitter and Instagram at @BernardLeePoker.

Bernard is a great ambassador not only for RunGoodGear, but also for the entire poker community, said Tana Karn, president of RunGoodGear.com. Bernard has done a fantastic job supporting us and we are pleased to be part of celebrating the 11th-straight year of his radio program.

Last summer, Lee nearly captured his first gold bracelet when he finished runner-up to Frank Kassela in the 2017 WSOP Event #13: $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 Lowball Draw, good for $55,086.
