The $120,000 guaranteed Whale tournament returned to 888poker this weekend and saw 95 players exchange $1,050 for 15,000 tournament chips and a shot at glory.
The top 12 finishers each received at least $4,025 for their efforts but it was Brazil��s Joao "joao_mathias" Mathias Baumgarten who came away with the lion��s share of the prize pool after a heads-up chop with Sweden��s "nutflopper.�� Mathias secured a $28,043 payday while "nutflopper" banked $27,616.
��Ksomahnisuos�� emerged victorious in the $30,000 Turbo Mega Deep and turned $215 into $8,096 while Germany��s ��CllsDntMttr�� walked away with $15,697 for their $215 investment in the $80,000 Mega Deep.
In the $30,000 Sunday Crocodile, it was Brazil��s Guilherme ��Anao19�� Schreiber who claimed the first-place prize, namely $6,450. Then in the $60,000 Sunday Challenge, ��Pepepepepe�� secured an $11,400 payout by topping a field of 475.
Over at PokerStars, Russia��s Artem ��veeea�� Vezhenkov came out on top of a 5,554-strong field in the $215 Sunday Million to win a massive $166,530 prize; the runner-up was ��Lui Martins�� of Brazil who took home $115,248.
The $1,050 Sunday Grand NLHE saw 182-players take to the PokerStars virtual felt and they were all outlasted by ��BCE_MOE_05�� of Russia who claimed the $36,129 first-place prize.
