Alan Summers Becomes the Latest DTD200 Champion
When former Premier League football star Anthony Gardner won a DTD200 event on March 26, he defeated Alan Summers heads up.
This week, Summers made up for coming agonizingly close to winning by taking down the latest ��100,000 guaranteed weekly tournament at Dusk Till Dawn.

Summers collected ��12,450 for his runner-up finish and added ��20,500 to his lifetime winnings with this victory. According to the Dusk Till Dawn website, Summers almost single-handedly took out his eight final table opponents on his way to victory.
Evaldas Cirkelis was the first casualty of the final table. His ninth-place finish was worth ��2,600, which included a ��550 tournament ticket.
Next to fall was Davide Anicito who won a ��30 buy-in tournament at Dusk Till Dawn on March 6 for ��1,100, his largest cash to date at the time. Anicito can now brag of a ��3,150 score.
Dusk Till Dawn regular Daryl Haney collected ��3,850 for his seventh-place finish with Harvey Sellick busting one place later and banking ��4,650.
Fifth place went to Martyn Frey. Frey finished in sixth-place in the DTD200 event that Summers was the runner-up in and now has more than $450,000 in live tournament winnings, the majority of which stems from his play at Dusk Till Dawn.
The ��6,800 won by Philip Hepburn for his fourth-place finish edges him toward $100,000 in career winnings. Before this latest cash, Hepburn had $91,889 in live tournament winnings.
Luke Barradell fell in third place for ��8,650, which is his fourth DTD200 cash and the largest of his career so far.
After Lukas Dimsa watched as the dealer slid his stack to Summers, Dimsa made his way to the cashier��s desk to collect the ��12,450 runner-up prize.
The ��100,000 guaranteed DTD200 takes a brief hiatus this week due to the ��6 million guaranteed partypoker MILLIONS Main Event taking place at the Nottingham club.
