Same time, same place, another year.

The 2017 Seneca Niagara Falls Western New York Poker Challenge begins March 31 and continues through April 10 with its $200,000 guaranteed Main Event on April 7.

With a variety of no limit hold'em events, players can expect to play as much poker as they're able to at the Seneca Gaming and Entertainment Poker Room in Niagara Falls.

The series itself this year starts of strong with an event boasting a $300 NLH $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. With four starting flights across two days, players can play more than one flight and take their largest stack on to Day 2. Day 1 will end at the end of level 14 or when 12 percent of the field remains, whichever comes first.

The Main Event has two Day 1s, and the event as a whole spans across three days. As with Event #1, the $300 No Limit Hold'em, players can play more than one flight and take their largest stack to Day 2. This Day 1 ends when level 15 is reached or 12 percent of the field remains.

PokerNews will cover the slate of events March 31 through April 10 in the Niagara Falls Poker Room. Follow along with the reporters on the floor here.

How to Get There

The Niagara Falls International Airport is only 15 minutes taking the scenic route to the hotel. And even better than getting there is that once players find the poker room, they're only a little over five minutes from the Observation Tower for the famous Niagara Falls.

Players can tour it while being a tourist in New York and building their bankrolls. What could be better?

What to Do at the Poker Room

In addition to their game variety, players can test their skills out on the poker room's 23 tables with free drinks, free parking and player rewards that'll make their heads spin.

Limit games are half rake on Tuesdays and Thursdays and there are always daily tournaments running in the poker room. And that's not all: Players can gain access to the 13 big screens in the room to watch their favorite sports games in the meantime or take a quick break from the tables.

Who to Watch For

Buck Ramsay

Buck Ramsay may be the player to watch coming into the Western New York Poker Challenge Main Event April 7, should he come back to take his second title at the tournament.

While noticeably absent from last years edition of the tournament C Rick Block would come in to fill his place and grab the $52,768 first-place prize C Ramsay showed up to the 2017 Western New York Poker Challenge Warm-Up Feature Event, winning the event for $18,302.

He came to an agreement with [Removed:339], who took $19,000 and second place.

Ramsays other Seneca Poker titles snagged him $60,000 after topping 275 entries in 2015 and $41,744 after besting 339 entries in 2014.
