The World Series of Poker has confirmed nearly all of its remaining 2016-2017 international stops on its schedule, with upcoming stops to include Australia, Portugal and Belgium in addition to the established WSOP Circuit destinations: Italy, France and Morocco.

We are very pleased to add these additional stops to the WSOP Circuit, said WSOP Director Gregory Chochon. We have been very judicious on which locales and casinos we will work with and believe we have found terrific partners in each of these markets to help bring the WSOP brand to a local and regional audience.

The popular WSOPC stop at Bally's, originally scheduled to take place in late February and early March in Las Vegas, has been rescheduled and moved to the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino due to a scheduling issue. It will take place Feb. 16 through Feb. 27.

Back when the WSOP initially announced the 2016-2017 circuit schedule, only six confirmed dates for the international series were set. However, up to 14 stops were teased. One was added in the interim in Brazil, which drew huge numbers in the WSOP's first foray into the burgeoning South American market. With the six additional stops confirmed, that brings the total to 13, just one short of the initial goal.

Here are the new confirmed stops and dates:

These events join previously announced stops in Cercle Clichy Montmarte in Paris recently underway and keeps Enjoy Conrad Punta del Este in Punta del Este, Uruguay on the schedule. The Punta del Este Main Event will be concurrent with the Sydney Main Event. Also, Casino Campione will now play host to two stops after hosting an event in September.

As for the mystery 14th stop on the international tour, it sounds like things are still in the works, as one additional stop "may be added," per the WSOP.

"If all events planned do come to fruition, the WSOP International Circuit will reach its previously announced target of 14 stops for the season," the company announced in a release.
