Weekends just became bigger at New Jersey regulated online poker rooms thanks to 888poker NJ and WSOP.com NJ introducing the Weekend Warrior which takes place every Friday to Sunday with nine reentry tournaments with a combined $100,000 prize pool.

While most of the tournaments are new on the schedule, a handful replace existing tournaments including the $50,000 The Ultimate Warrior subbing in for the $30,000 GTD Weekly Sunday and the $10,000 GTD Weekly Sunday transforming into the $10,000 Fierce Warrior.

In its very first week, the $50,000 The Ultimate Warrior produced the weekend's single biggest winner when James "BagelBud" Lillis finished on top of the 201-player field to bank an impressive $13,250. Other notable players to score big in this tournament included Jeremy "Jermz" Danger (4th - $3,400), Brandon "sh1tb1rd" Shane (8th - $1,200), and Isaac "Going2Ship" Furman (9th - $850).

Lillis and Danger also found success over on the partypoker NJ/BorgataPoker.com network. Lillis finished in ninth place in the Sunday $40k Championship Bonus for $1,240. Grabbing the top two spots in this tournament were well-known New Jersey online poker players AJ "Chips_Jammed" Ten Hoeve snagging the win for $8,000 and Cody "GrapeAPE" Cluff winning the second place prize of $5,440.

Meanwhile, Danger took first place as part of a heads-up deal with "CoachD" in the Sunday Seconds $10K Gtd to collect $2,634.

Thomas "Beezer0000" Bimble was the biggest winner on PokerStars NJ, taking down the Sunday Special, $50,000 Gtd for $10,225, while "NewJerseySux" also managed a big payday on this online poker room by shipping the Sunday High Roller [6-Max], $15,000 Gtd for $7,896.
