"The meeting shows how the mainstream can also be fascinated by the game of poker. - Kara Scott"
"When I was asked about Georgia, I first thought it was a place where I didn't need my passport," laughed Effel. I am excited to be travelling to the other side of the world to celebrate the WSOP's extension in March at the cross-roads between Europe and Asia in the capital of Georgia."
Similarly, Scott announced she will also be at Georgia's largest indoor sports arena to participate to the event. "I'm looking forward to my first trip to Tbilisi, and plan to take lots of photos of this beautiful and interesting city," shared Scott."I've been hearing very positive noises about the WSOP circuit event that will be there in March and the line up of media already confirmed for it is exciting. It goes to show how the mainstream can also be fascinated by the game of poker."
"I hear rumours of big cash games." - Jonathan Duhamel
The media representatives will also get the opportunity to discuss about the event and poker in general with a WSOP Main Event champion, as Duhamel confirmed he will be traveling from Canada to discover what is considered to be one of the most vibrant up-and-coming spots in Europe's poker scene.
"I met the people from Adjarabet at tournaments late last year and was impressed how they were making a conscious effort to reach out personally to players about March's big WSOP Circuit event," Duhamel said. "I am delighted to be heading out for the big press launch. It will be a great adventure. I hear rumours of big cash games and players not exposed to as many international pros so will be checking that out too."
